Last summer was the most amazing ever! I lived with my aunt and cousins near the seaside. It was always warm and sunny. There were many teenagers coming to swim and sunbathe there, and we soon became friends. Also, we played a lot. We marked a special place on the beach and put a net there. Then, we bought a ball to play with. We played in two teams, passing the ball over the net and trying to score. It was great!

When a person decides to pick up a new hobby, they usually need to buy some important stuff for that. I've decided to start rock climbing, and my coach gave me a list of all the essentials I need to get. There are quickdraws for hanging, a personal anchor system, a rope, special shoes, a harness and a bag of chalk. And all these things are only a basic minimum!

Peter has always been fond of active hobbies. When he was little, he was keen on football, basketball, and athletics. Now he enjoys something more dangerous. He says he likes the feeling of putting himself at danger and rescuing himself. That's why some of his favourite activities now include mountain biking, skydiving, and snowboarding.

Some people say that it is not only important to keep fit and be strong, but also to relax and clear your mind. Fortunately, there is a type of sport which helps to do both. Those who practise doing it claim that the overall stress level is decreasing, their body becomes stronger and more flexible. There are also specific poses (so-called "asanas") which help to improve one's health and mood significantly.

My family adores sports and active holidays. We usually do sports together. For instance, we always play volleyball and football at weekends. In summer we go hiking in the mountains in good weather and work out in a gym if the weather is bad. In winter we go skiing and snowboarding. All these activities help us to stay active, healthy and strong!
